Edson Ludowika, Born on the Caribbean island of CuraƧao, Edson Ludowika could hear the typical tunes of the sunny island from his cradle. From then on he was influenced by the dance of his culture. During his youth he got to know the world of hip hop and breakdancing. After gaining a lot of experience, he became more and more interested in other dance styles. He especially agrees with all forms of hip-hop, but he also immerses himself in many other dance styles to distinguish his choreographies from the “usual” every time. As a choreographer and teacher he has made a name for himself in the urban hip-hop world. He has collaborated with various artists on various projects. Especially with krumping Edson has put himself on the map. Still not tired of dancing, Edson decided to pick up salsa again. With his technical background, Edson knows how to place and explain certain techniques that are necessary for salsa dancing. The typical flow and tranquility in NY style salsa is therefore a real match for Edson. His rich experience in the dance world, his technique and eye for detail make him an ideal teacher to guide people to become a good (salsa) dancer. Anne-Lise Thijs , If you see me busy, I have way too much southern blood in my body, but I am a real Belgian. I have always had dance jitters since I was a child and it will no longer be possible to get out of my body. During my youth I did a lot of ballet and jazz ballet as well as folk dancing. A regular performance with the dance school on Wednesdays or weekends was a nice change. I danced until I was 30 until someone told me I don’t feel like dancing salsa! I had never heard of this strange sauce. Out of full conviction and not knowing where to start, I ventured into it and the microbe never let go of me and was bitten by it every day. 20 years ago there wasn’t as much style to be seen as now, but experiencing a good evolution in styles has shaped me into what I am today and hopefully can bring some color to the dance floor. I had the opportunity to develop myself very well with feminine style, to learn beautiful techniques and to pass them on to anyone who wants this. My experience in salsa with an eye for detail and refinement in social dancing I can help people to get good salsa dancers on the dance floor See you in class or on the dance floor.
